Summary
- This project aimed to gather information related with the archaeological heritage of the municipality of Vidigueira. For this purpose, the bibliographical information available was studied before visiting the sites that were mentioned, in order to reassess and/or relocate archaeological remains in the field. Almost two hundred sites were identified.

- The survey methodology consisted of fieldwalking areas where archaeological sites have been previously found. GPS was used as an important tool for field survey, but this Carta Arqueológica does not contain the site coordinates. Basic site descriptions are provided whereas information on field survey methodology is limited. An individual file was elaborated for each site, containing information regarding the general location, chronology, possible typology and a general description of the site.
