    • ODESSOS (Hristo Kuzov – h.kouzov@abv.bg, Maria Manolova-Voikova) The Late Antique fortification wall of Odessos of the 4th – beginning of the 7th centuries AD is situated at 10 – 15 m to the north of the site. A _castellum aquae_ of the Roman period had been discovered close to the site. In 2014, the water conduit exiting from the _castellum aquae_ was explored. It was 2.10 m wide, built of stones bonded with mortar, preserved at 16 m in length. Its interior is barrel-vaulted and was c. 1.10 in height. The floor was paved with square bricks and the walls were covered with hydrophobic plaster. Sherds, fragments from glass vessels, a fibula and a coin of Constantius II minted after AD 350 were found in the water conduit. Coins of the 3rd – 6th centuries AD were found along the outer southern side of the water conduit. Part of a street c. 2.50 m was explored. The street was paved with slabs placed over a mortar plaster and had a kerb.
