The archaeological research took place in the archaeological site of Apulum, in the central-eastern area of the Roman town of colonia Aurelia Apulensis. We discovered a few fragments belonging to a Roman building (the floor of a room, the foundation bed of a wall consisting of stone and gravel. The wall was made of stone bound with mortar, and the brick was used for the elevation. After the Roman period, the wall was destroyed and the materials were largely employed for other mediaeval or modern buildings.
