    • APOLLONIA (Teodora Bogdanova – vorbog@gmail.com, Dimitar Nedev) The site was situated close to the necropolis of Apollonia. A surrounding wall and a building constructed of dry roughly-cut stones were explored. Their foundations were dug into a layer with material of the 6th – beginning of the 2nd centuries BC. The wall was 29.40 m long and 40 – 80 cm wide. The building had two rooms and Late Antique sherds and fragments from roof-tiles were found. Traces from agricultural activities were discovered on the site: a system of 114 trenches of vineyards. The trenches were long from 8.60 m to 39 m, wide from 50 cm to 90 cm and were parallel, situated at 0.50 – 1.30 m from each other. Sherds and bronze coins of the 6th – beginning of the 2nd centuries BC were found. A layer with traces from fire was documented, containing a small amount of Early Bronze Age sherds and animal bones.
