Summary (English)
EXPLORATIONS NEAR THE VILLAGE OF MUSELIEVO (Stanimira Taneva – stanimira.taneva@gmail.com, Maya Valentinova) In 1965, a Middle Paleolithic workshop for leaf-like flint points was discovered in the region. In 1965 – 1967 sondage explorations were carried out. In 1975 – 1978 and 1980 – 1988 archaeological excavations were carried out. The technical and typological structure of the flint assemblage and the specialization in the production of one type of flint tools are typical of the so-called Paleolithic workshops. In 2019, a site was documented; flint artifacts (splinters and flakes) and sherds of the 8th – 10th centuries AD and the 16th – 18th centuries were found.
