Summary (English)
The archaeological diggings from “Piaţa Gării” were developed as preventive archaeological diggings. It was identified the wall of the Dominican Monastery, which was situated in the east side of the 9 Mai street, in front of the Elisabeth Gate. The archaeological diggings were developed manually by uncovering the surface through mechanical means, followed by the digging with spades and cleaning the surfaces with the spatula, the brush and the paintbrush. A number of 6 sections and one surface were traced. Another surface was traced near the S1, S2, S3, S4 sections, to mark the outline of the wall. There were no elements to indicate the evolution of the architecture and/or necropolis.
