We report the results of an archaeological survey that took place in Mangalia, 3 Horea, Cloşca and Crişan Street. The cremation tomb discovered here belongs to a type known as rug busta; this tomb is unique in the Callatian cemetery, as the pit was dug in draught steps. The type of grave, its north-south orientated pit, and the grave goods which consist of three vessels known as oenochoiai allow us to attribute this grave to the Early Roman period.
