Summary (English)
The 2003 archaeological excavations at Chitila-Fermă uncovered a very small surface of the Neolithic tell. Two new sections were opened, although only one was fully excavated. The recovered materials belong to both Gumelniţa and Boian cultures. As in the 2002 campaign, a new “set” of human bones was recovered, although no grave was discovered until now. Among the many other Neolithic finds it is worth mentioning: 25 clay figurines, bone beads and fragments of two bracelets made of Spondylus Gaederopus.
