Summary (English)
At Giorocuţa (Supur village, Satu Mare county), about 1500 m upstream the village, on Crasna River, we excavated a vallum – trench system, probably from the Roman period, located close to Crasna River Valley. On the left bank, because of the damage, one could see only the trench, with a depth of -2.8 m from the present day level of the soil and an opening of 4.40 m towards the barbarian area. On the right bank, the opening of the trench was 8.2 m. The excavations revealed that the trench crossed Crasna River Valley.
