Summary (English)
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPLORATIONS IN STARA ZAGORA (Maria Kamisheva – maria_ivanowa@abv.bg) The site is located on the area of the southwestern necropolis of Augusta Traiana. In 2004, 26 graves, Roman walls and pits from the Middle Ages and from the 18th – 19th centuries were explored close to the south of the site. An area of 250 sq. m was explored in 2006. No Roman material and structures were discovered. Eight pits with materials from the 18th – 19th centuries were explored.
